Fluoroplastics have low thermal conductivity, poorer mechanical properties than metals, and are not resistant to high temperatures. The use of small diameter and thin tube walls, although compensating for thermal conductivity and mechanical properties, can still only be used in lower pressure and lower temperature situations.
